2. What data we collect and why
- Purchases: name, surname, shipping address, email, phone (optional) and order details. Purpose: processing and delivering your order, invoicing, and handling returns and guarantees. Legal basis: performance of a contract (art. 6.1.b GDPR) and compliance with legal obligations (tax and consumer law). Providing this data is necessary to buy — without it we cannot process your order.
- Payment: payments are processed entirely by Shopify Payments / the selected payment provider under PCI-DSS certification. We never see or store your full card number.
- Newsletter — "Imperatore Club": your email address, only if you actively subscribe. Purpose: sending news, collections and offers. Legal basis: your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time via the unsubscribe link included in every email.
- Technical data: Shopify collects standard technical information (IP, browser, device) for security, fraud prevention and anonymised store statistics. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling with legal effects.
3. Who processes your data
Our store runs on Shopify International Ltd., which acts as data processor under its Data Processing Addendum, GDPR-compliant. Where data is transferred outside the EEA, Shopify relies on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and equivalent safeguards. We also share the data strictly necessary with delivery carriers to ship your order. We never sell your personal data to third parties.
4. How long we keep your data
- Order and invoicing data: for the periods required by Spanish tax and commercial law (generally up to 6 years).
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.
5. Your rights
You may exercise at any time your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and withdraw any consent given, by emailing imperatoread@gmail.com with the subject "Data protection", attaching proof of identity. We will reply within one month.

6. Minors
Our store is not directed at children under 14. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
